Josh Minton started training in Koo Self Defense on May 25, 2000. He has done 318 classes and reached Brown Belt. He left in August 2001 for Mercer University, Georgia, USA. He countinues with his training at Koo Self Defense when he comes back to Cartersville on vacation. Congratulations on being a honors engineer!

Congratulations to my daughter Gemma, honor graduate of Cartersville Hich School, Class of 2003. Gemma is in College and majoring in Echocardiology and will graduate in April 2007.


Congratulations to Gregory Koo on scoring 5, the highest score available on the Advancement Placement Tests for US History, top 10 percent of high school scholars in the USA! The tests were taken in the 10th Grade (sophmore). This article appeared in 'The Daily Tribune' and 'The Herald Tribune' September 2004.

Congratulations to my son Gregory, Honor Graduate of Cartersville High School 2006. Greg is a member of the National Honor Society, The Beta Club, The Mu Alpha Theta (Maths) Society and an Etowah All Stars (1200+) students who scored 1200 and above on the SAT score.
Instead of attending Cartersville High School for his Senior year (12th Grade), Gregory was in joint enrolment with the University of West Georgia in Carrollton, GA.
He attended the Honors College at the Advanced Academy and lived on campus for the year. Greg made the Dean List for the University of West Georgia and achieved Grade A in the following subjects: Calculus 3, Ordinary Differential Equation, Physics 1 Honors, Microeconomics, English Composition 2, British Literature Honors, Labs for Physics 1, Physics 2, Basic Electronics, Modern Physics, American Government, Creative Writing, Labs for Physics 2.
This summer 2006, he will be spending 10 weeks at the University of Alabama doing undergraduate research in Chemistry.
August 2006, he enters Georgia Institute of Technology as a Sophmore to major in Electrical Engineering
